A practice of materials & the marks they leave.
With a background in printmaking, typography, and neon, my work bridges personal reflection and public awareness. Recent work responds to the contrast between urban life in New York City and a rural upbringing in Alaska & upstate New York.
I document and interpret the changing world around me: through augmented-reality explorations of local bioswales, transforming invasive Catskills species into art materials and tracking wildlife with remote cameras.
My practice remains rooted in a commitment to observing, honoring, and interacting with the often-unseen systems that animate both wilderness and city.
